Wildlife numbers in Namibia are relatively low due to the arid environment, but animals are easy to spot. All of the big predators are present, with the cheetah being especially common. During the dry season, large herds of animals, particularly elephants, can be seen at Etosha Pan.
Namibia is distinguished by its desert environment. The harsh environment provides a magnificent backdrop for a unique safari. Although animal populations are smaller, sightings in this sparse setting are often rewarding. Etosha Pan, Africa’s largest salt pan and a seasonal wildlife magnet, should not be missed.
