An all-inclusive 3 days safari on a budget can cost $700 with spending at least $230 or $250 per person per day. Whichever way you are planning your safari whether through Kubwa Five Safaris or on an individual basis you need to know the number of days you will spend in Africa.
“You don’t need to stay in luxurious accommodation to have a thrilling lifetime wildlife experience,” says Joseph Aliganyira, Team Leader of Kubwa Five Safaris.
Budget Safari: We quote the price based on budget (low-end) accommodation, which is mostly tents, simple guesthouses or dormitory rooms, or low-end cottages) and a 4×4 Minivan as means of transport
Kubwa Five Safaris offers camping in and around a number of parks. All camping packages include camping equipment and the services of a personal chef who will prepare your meals while on safari.
Safari Vehicles for a budget safari: You will be driven in 4×4 Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up tops and seven window seats for beautiful game viewing and photography. Groups of twelve or more people who would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16 window seats. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide a maximum level of comfort and safety.
Budget Accommodation: Accommodation such as simple guesthouses or dormitory rooms are available throughout Africa.
In some areas, accommodations are usually in a large tented or thatched suite elevated on a timber plinth, with bucket shower and bush toilet, or a private bathroom containing modern style facilities. Service and amenity standards won’t be high and you are likely to share facilities with other guests, but choosing this standard can make a big difference in the price of the tour.
Alternatively, you can choose to camp. Camping is exclusively in the budget tier of accommodation. Some campsites have wonderful locations and Kubwa Five Safaris can provide you with tents and mattresses, so you still get that excellent service This can be entirely your choice and we will recommend the best options for you, based on your preferences.
Mid-Range Safari: We quote the price based on Standard accommodation, which is mostly tented Lodges and 3* hotels
Safari Vehicles: Just like the budget safari, you will also be driven in 4×4 Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up tops and seven window seats for beautiful game viewing and photography. Groups of twelve or more people who would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16 window seats. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide a maximum level of comfort and safety. In the safari vehicle, you will have mineral drinking water.
Mid-range accommodation. It is mostly tented Lodges and 3* hotels with an excellent location, comfortable and will have good service and food. They are very comfortable and come equipped with a pop-up roof for excellent game viewing. This is your best option for comfortable, self-contained (‘en suite’) accommodation set in stunning locations that don’t cost a fortune. These lodges often have a swimming pool, as well.
Luxurious safari: we quote the price based on a safari vehicle and 4*hotels which have a high standard of Service.
Safari Vehicles: The vehicles we use for luxury clients are fully customized 4×4 Toyota Landcruiser, the ultimate safari vehicle, equipped with pop-up roof, charging point and cooler for your drinks and packed lunches. In the Landcruiser/jeep you will have coffee hamper, mineral drinking water, and a bottle of wine during picnic lunches. The vehicles have pop-up tops and seven window seats for beautiful game viewing and photography. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide a maximum level of comfort and safety.
Luxurious Accommodation: Your accommodation will have everything that mid-range has but slightly more refined, more comfortable, better food and service, usually with an excellent view.
The accommodation is fully equipped, comfortable and usually more spacious than the mid-range options. They often have facilities like swimming pools, masseurs and sometimes even private butlers.
Can I have a Luxury Accommodation and Mid-range vehicle?
If you would like luxury accommodation but want to save money by using a mid-range vehicle then that is possible. Or you want 4×4 Landcruiser but having a mid-range or budget accommodation. Any of the mentioned options is possible and our team can find the best options for you and your budget.
Can I use a flight internally instead of the safari Vehicle?
If you don’t fancy the long drives (5-6 hours), then it is also possible to fly to some of the more national parks both on chartered and scheduled flights. This arrangement comes with extra prices that are not included in our packages.
