    Arrival In Zambia | Travel To Victoria Falls | Victoria Falls Guided Tour | Helicopter View Of Victoria Falls (Optional Activity)

    On arrival in Zambia, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide, who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, which was formerly known as Livingstone International Airport, and transferred to your lodge.

    If you are already Livingstone town, we will pick you up from your hotel in Livingstone and you will be transferred to Victoria Falls.

    This is the moment where your safari in Zambia begins. This is a country with incredible wildlife and national parks, and after a few brief formalities, it's time for you to get out there and discover what we mean.

    On arrival at Victoria Falls, you will go for a guided tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. The guide will give you all necessary information on Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River, and the flora and fauna of the area.

    Around 2:30pm, if you are interested, you will be picked up for a helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls (20–30 minutes’ drive one way), i.e. having an aerial view of the Victoria Falls. Please note that this activity is an optional activity.

    Rhino Tracking | Optional Activities

    After breakfast, you will head out for a game drive and a rhino walk in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, which is located in Livingstone. It is home to different wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, hippos, antelopes, cape buffalo and many others.

    We will then have a rhino walk; which allows us to get closer to the white rhinos
    found in the park. You won't regret visiting Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

    The Best Time To Visit The Ol Pejeta

    This small park is home to the world-famous Victoria Falls, and shares its evocative local name Mosi-oaTunya (‘Smoke that Thunders’). It also incorporates a small but worthwhile game park on the north bank of the Zambezi; wildlife here includes Zambia’s only white rhinos, along with elephants, hippos and a varied selection of aquatic birds.

    Last Day In Zambia | Travel To Kasane, Botswana | Travel To Chobe National Park | Evening Game Drive (3pm to 6pm)

    After breakfast, you will have some of the optional activities if you want, and then be transferred to Kasane. On arrival in Kasane, you will be transferred to your lodge.

    On arrival in Kasane, you will be driven to Kwalape Safari Lodge, and you will relax at your lodge in the afternoon, and then later in the evening, you will go for the evening game drive in Chobe National Park.

    Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer, and the wildlife begins to get active. Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals.

    Chobe National Park is often called the Land of the Giants. That's because not only is the park famous for its big herds of elephants, but these are also some of the biggest elephants in Africa. Big cats, especially lions and leopards are other highlights, and two of Botswana's most famous wildlife areas, Savuti and Chobe Riverfront, lie within the park's boundaries.

    Morning Game Drive (6am to 12noon) | Boat Cruise (3pm to 6pm) In Chobe National Park

    After breakfast, you will go to Chobe National Park for more fantastic wildlife action on an early morning game drive. 

    Imagine being out in the soft, early morning light, wrapped in a blanket, just as the animals emerge from their night’s rest or from the shadows of their nighttime adventures. The world feels fresh and new on an early morning game drive; the sun has yet to beat down upon the earth; and it may end up being your favorite time to be out on safari.

    The park is often called the Land of the Giants. That's because not only is the park famous for its big herds of elephants, but these are also some of the biggest elephants in Africa. Big cats, especially lions and leopards are other highlights, and two of Botswana's most famous wildlife areas, Savuti and Chobe Riverfront, lie within the park's boundaries.

    In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise from 3pm to 6pm; it is one of the safari highlights in Chobe National Park.

    Transfer To Zimbabwe | Guided Tour Of Victoria Falls | Sunset Cruise | Boma Cultural Dinner (Optional)

    After breakfast, you will be driven by our Kubwa Five Safaris representative and transferred by road to Victoria Falls. Gaze in wonder at the scale and sheer beauty of Victoria Falls, or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the ‘smoke that thunders’) as locals call it. It's an incredible experience, whether it's your first time or you're coming back for more.

    On arrival in Zimbabwe, you will go for a tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. The guide will give you all necessary information on the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River, as well as the flora and fauna of the area.

    At 15H30 pick up for the sunset cruise, and at 18H45. After the sunset cruise, you will be taken to our Boma cultural dinner. 

    This trip stays for an approximate 45 minutes longer on the river after the sunset cruise, giving you enough time to enjoy your favorite beverage while keeping an eye out for hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. It's a 3-hour trip.

    After the sunset cruise, you will go to the Boma Cultural Dinner, this is an optional activity. An unforgettable African experience infused with Zimbabwean cuisine, The Boma- Place of Eating is a Must Do whilst in Victoria Falls. The Boma specialises in a superb selection of Zimbabwean dishes. A four-course meal combines a choice of starters with a barbecue.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Livingstone Airport. Kubwa Five Safaris will pick you up from Livingstone Airport. 

Transfer from Livingstone Airport is included. No additional charges.

Transfer to Botswana from Zambia and to Zimbabwe from Botswana will be by road.

After your thrilling vacation, Kubwa Five Safaris will transfer you back to Victoria Falls Airport for your scheduled flight back home. No additional charges.
