Tanzania National Parks and Game Reserves

There are many wonderful opportunities to view wildlife in Tanzania. The Tanzania National Parks and Game Reserves are sufficient to make Tanzania a fantastic place to see wild animals. The “Big Five” and the vast majority of the other animals that are sought after on safari can be seen without much difficulty. The black rhinoceros is virtually unheard of everywhere in the park with the sole exception of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Tanzania has 15 National Parks, 33 Game Reserves, 43 Game-Controlled Wildlife Corridors, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which alone covers 3,202 square miles.
