My name is Mustafa Mzamir Seguya, popularly known as Mufasa. With over 8 years of experience as a professional safari guide, I am proud to have led memorable safaris across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
Born and raised in the wild heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, nature is deeply rooted in my identity. My passion for wildlife and conservation stems from growing up among animals, making tour guiding not just a profession but a way of life.
I hold a Diploma in Tourism and Wildlife Conservation, and I’m fluent in English, Swahili, and Arabic, as well as six local Ugandan languages. I’m currently expanding my linguistic skills by studying German and Spanish during the tourism low season, soon to be a multilingual safari guide ready to welcome guests from even more parts of the world.
My favorite animal is the leopard, resilient, adaptive, and powerful. It reflects who I am and also holds a special place in my heart, as it’s the totem of my mother’s clan.
Tourism has broadened my horizons, allowing me to meet incredible people, explore diverse destinations, and continuously learn. When I’m not guiding, I enjoy researching wildlife, playing golf, and occasionally enjoying nightlife with friends.
Though I’m not married yet, I believe the right person will come in time.
Why Kubwa Five Safaris?
Kubwa Five Safaris is more than just a company to me it’s a family. We work as a team, are fairly compensated, and the company continues to grow its footprint across Africa. Our director, Mr. Joseph, leads with heart, treating every guide like family. This loyalty and passion are what fuel my dedication to Kubwa Five Safaris.
