Why This Tour?

8-Day Luxury Namibia Thrilling Tour

Our 8-Day Luxury Namibia Thrilling Tour takes you on a journey to Etosha National Park, where you'll witness incredible wildlife, enjoy a breathtaking hot air balloon safari in Swakopmund, and explore the stunning coastal town of Walvis Bay. Experience the best of Namibia's natural beauty and adventure.

Namibia Tours

You will visit Etosha National Park, Walvis Bay, and Swakopmund.

The 8-Day Luxury Namibia Thrilling Tour unfolds as a carefully paced journey that flows naturally from wildlife-rich savannas to dramatic desert landscapes and finally to the refreshing Atlantic coastline, offering a rewarding blend of adventure, scenery, and relaxation.

The adventure begins with a scenic drive north toward Etosha National Park, where vast open plains and shimmering salt pans set the stage for unforgettable safari experiences. Over the next few days, the rhythm of the journey settles into early morning and late afternoon game drives, the best times to observe wildlife gathering around waterholes.

Etosha’s unique landscape allows for exceptional visibility, making each drive an exciting search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, springbok, and, with some luck, elusive predators such as leopards and cheetahs. Time spent moving between different sectors of the park adds variety to the experience, revealing contrasting habitats and ever-changing wildlife scenes. Evenings are spent unwinding at comfortable lodges, where the sounds of the African night create a perfect end to each safari day.

Leaving Etosha behind, the tour transitions from the savanna to Namibia’s striking desert heartland. The drive south and west offers a fascinating change of scenery, with rolling hills giving way to vast gravel plains and distant mountain backdrops. This overland journey is part of the adventure itself, showcasing Namibia’s sense of space and untouched beauty. Gradually, the cooler Atlantic air signals your arrival at the coast, where desert meets ocean in one of the country’s most distinctive landscapes.

The next chapter of the journey unfolds in Swakopmund, a charming coastal town known for its relaxed atmosphere and German-influenced architecture. Here, the pace softens slightly, allowing time to enjoy the seaside setting before experiencing one of the tour’s most memorable highlights — a hot air balloon safari.

Taking off at sunrise, the balloon drifts silently over golden dunes and desert valleys, offering breathtaking aerial views as the light changes and the land below comes alive with color and texture. The experience is both thrilling and serene, providing a unique perspective of Namibia’s desert environment that few travelers ever forget.

Following the aerial adventure, the tour continues along the coast to Walvis Bay, home to a tranquil lagoon and rich marine ecosystem. The flow of the itinerary remains gentle and unhurried, encouraging moments of observation and appreciation. Visits to the lagoon reveal flocks of flamingos and other seabirds, while the surrounding landscapes showcase sweeping sand dunes rolling directly into the Atlantic Ocean. The contrast between arid desert and cool coastal waters adds a refreshing dimension to the journey.

As the tour draws to a close, the final days allow time to reflect on the diverse experiences that define this Namibian adventure — from close-up wildlife encounters in Etosha, to soaring above the desert in a hot air balloon, and enjoying the calm, scenic beauty of the Atlantic coast. The return journey completes a well-connected loop, ensuring a smooth and satisfying conclusion to an itinerary that flows effortlessly through Namibia’s most iconic regions.

Transfer To Eros Airport | Fly To Onguma Private Airfield | Transfer To Etosha National Park | Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will be driven to Eros Airport for your scheduled flight to Onguma Private Airfield.

On arrival, our guide will transfer you to Etosha National Park where you will go on an evening game drive.

If you're really lucky, you might see four of the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants and rhinos) while you're exploring Etosha National Park. Elephants coated in white dust, and rhinos by the waterholes after dark are particular highlights. But what gives Etosha its gravitas is the landscape of unending salt pans that make for stunning sunrises and sunsets.

Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get.

Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals.

Meals and overnight at Onguma Bush Camp/ Toshari Lodge/ Mushara Lodge.

Morning And Afternoon Game Drives In Etosha National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a morning and afternoon game drive in Etosha National Park, and enjoy its animals and landscapes some more.

The park cannot support the large herds of game found in East Africa, but it has a diverse and haunting quality that few parks can match. Etosha or “the great white place,” owes its unique landscape to the Etosha Pan, a vast shallow depression of approximately 4800
    sq km.

A series of waterholes along the southern edge of the pan attract game into this area. While anywhere in Etosha National Park is guaranteed to be a fantastic safari experience, we think you'll particularly enjoy Eastern Etosha National Park.

It has all the usual Etosha features, from the iconic salt pans to the fantastic wildlife. But its safari trails are less crowded because the camps out here are smaller and more exclusive.

Meals and overnight at Onguma Bush Camp/ Toshari Lodge/ Mushara Lodge.

Morning and Evening Game Drives In Etosha National Park

After breakfast, return to Etosha National Park and get to know it even better.

The park is home to several rare and endangered species, including black rhinos, black-faced impalas, and the Damara dik-diks. The park is home to over 114 animal species: elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, kudu, oryx, and a variety of antelope species ranging from the giant elands and stately giraffes to the tiny dik-diks.

The dry season (May to October) is a particularly rewarding month for game viewing as the rainwater has dried up and the game is forced to rely on the life supporting waterholes.

You'll enjoy the evening game drive. Etosha holds one of the largest and perhaps the most stable populations of black rhinos in the world. The waterhole at Okaukuejo is famous for its nighttime wildlife including frequent visits by black rhinos, elephants, and lions.

Meals and overnight at Onguma Bush Camp/ Toshari Lodge/ Mushara Lodge.

Why should you visit Namibia?

  • Namibia

Namibia is one of those places that quietly blows your mind — vast, wild, and beautifully uncrowded. If you love dramatic landscapes, wildlife, and a sense of real adventure, Namibia delivers in a big way.

From the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert to the eerie, photogenic Deadvlei, Namibia looks like another planet. Add the rugged Skeleton Coast, deep Fish River Canyon (Africa’s largest), and endless open horizons — it’s a dream for nature lovers and photographers.

Namibia offers unique desert-adapted wildlife you won’t easily see elsewhere — elephants, lions, rhinos, and giraffes thriving in arid landscapes. Etosha National Park is a standout, with salt pans and waterholes that make game viewing spectacular, especially in the dry season.

Is Namibia safe to visit?

Namibia is one of Africa’s safest and easiest countries for self-drive travel. Excellent road infrastructure, wide-open spaces, and clear signage make road trips incredibly rewarding — think freedom, solitude, and epic scenery at every turn.

If you’re tired of busy destinations, Namibia is refreshingly quiet. Even at famous sights, you’ll often feel like you have the place to yourself — rare and special in today’s travel world.
