Arrive In Uganda | Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park | Evening Game Drive

On arrival in Uganda in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport then be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy scenic views along the way.

On arrival, you will go for the evening game drive

Dinner and overnight at Songbird Safari Lodge.

Morning Game Drive | Afternoon Boat Cruise In Kazinga Channel | Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will go for the morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a huge park where wildlife and people co-exist in harmony.
Set on the Rift Valley floor in view of the snow-capped Rwenzori peaks, Queen Elizabeth National Park offers plenty of variety to safarigoers.

On the Kasenyi and Ishasha Plains, large herds of Uganda kob, the national antelope, stand on constant guard for the lions that feed on them.

In the afternoon, you will go for the boat ride. Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, passing herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffaloes and hippos, basking crocodiles, and many different bird species and large mammals.

Lakes Edward and George, together with the connecting Kazinga Channel, support around 5,000 hippos.

Thereafter, you will have an evening game drive

Visit Ishasha Sector | Tracking Tree Climbing Lions | Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park | Batwa Cultural Interaction

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park

Buffalos, elephants and various antelopes are likely to be seen in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, but the focal point of our visit will be locations favored by its legendary tree-climbing lions.

After the game drive in Ishasha, we move to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Supporting almost half the world's mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is arguably the best place anywhere in the world to track these charismatic gentle giants through their misty forest home. But there is far more to this UNESCO World Heritage Site than just gorillas. The lush forest interior is also home to a diversity of other mammals, ranging from L’Hoest’s monkey and chimpanzee to elephant and the yellowbacked duiker.

A total of 350 bird species, 23 of which are unique to the Albertine Rift Valley, ensure that Bwindi ranks among East Africa's most rewarding birdwatching destinations.

We will embark on a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for 500,000 years. You will enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

Gorilla Trekking | Relaxation In The Evening

After breakfast, head out with packed lunches to the park head offices with your guide.

You will have a briefing about the do's and don’ts while in the park with the gorillas. Afterward, head out for the gorilla trekking through the misty rainforest.

Trekking can take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets.

Spending time in the presence of mountain gorillas is a real privilege, so we're sure you'll enjoy trekking deep into the forest to find them. This is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while on safari.

At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to your lodge for a well-deserved shower.

The Last Day With Us | A Stopover At The Equator | Travel To Airport | Fly Back Home

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Entebbe International Airport. You will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch in Masaka. See where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Snacks, souvenirs and photographs may be taken here.

After lunch, you will proceed to Entebbe for your scheduled flight back home.
