Single Room Supplement: Most of the hotels have double rooms (A room with one big bed for 2 people or a room with 2 single beds occupied by 2 people) this means the 3rd person will be left without a room to stay and the alternative would be to occupy the single room (a room with one bed ). Depending on the time of your arrival, you may be able to explore the sites in and around Kampala. Another option of the accommodation depending on your arrival time. You will stay in Sky Hotel in Kampala, located 10 kilometers from the city center towards Naalya Housing Estate, it has a capacity of 29 rooms with twin beds taking up 58 guests, there is one restaurant, which is open from 07:00 – 10:00 for breakfast. However, it is open for the rest of the day for meals. The hotel has cozy safari style furnished rooms, equipped with satellite TV, fridge bar, telephone, fan, and a comfortable bathroom.
Kyaninga Royal Cottages Lodge
Perched on the edge of a rare twinned-volcanic crater lake, Kyaninga offers spectacular walks right on your doorstep. Take a guided walk with one of the lodge guides around the rim of the crater lake and see it in all of its majesty. Or a walk down to the Lake through the ‘land that time forgot’ forest at Kyaninga. Out of Kyaninga, you can tour the local villages and gain a fascinating insight into rural Ugandan life. A little further, and you can take a walk up to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley itself and stare in wonder as East Africa opens out beneath you.

Travel to Jinja, city tour, this can be done on day 6.
Depart for Jinja after your breakfast. You will be driven to Jinja. You will go through Mabira forest. The Mabira Forest is a rainforest area covering about 300 square kilometers in Uganda, located in Buikwe District, between Lugazi and Jinja. It has been protected as Mabira Forest Reserve since 1932. It is home for many endangered species like the primate Lophocebus Uganda

Whitewater rafting & discovering the River Nile, this can be done on day 7.
Have an early breakfast and head out for today’s activities. The Nile River finds its source in Jinja where it starts the 4000 km through different African countries. So your driver will take you to where the beginning point is as you go for discovering the Source of the Nile; you will go for a guided boat cruise on the Nile.
After the boat ride, go for half day rafting on the rapids which is an adventure and an unforgettable experience.
Have lunch and after you could choose to rest at the lodge on the swimming pool or go for optional activities like bungee jumping or kayaking or quad biking or Horse riding.

Return to Kampala the Entebbe International Airport, this can be done on day 8.
Take breakfast leave Jinja for Kampala buy some souvenirs to take home with you. If you have a flight on the same day your guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport forthe departure flight home.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Kubwa Five Safaris will pick you up from the airport.
Cancellation Policy
On your arrival, Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you to Uganda at Entebbe airport and transfer you to Sky hotel in Kampala located 10 Km from the city center towards Naalya Housing Estate, it has a capacity of 29 Rooms with twin beds taking up 58 guests, there is one restaurant, which is open from 7-10 am for breakfast. However, it is open for the rest of the day for meals.
Depending on your arrival time, relax in your already-booked hotel after a long flight while you are dreaming of your safari tomorrow morning at 7:00am and then drive West to Fort Portal with enroute lunch in Mubende.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kyaninga Royal Cottages.
After your breakfast, today you will drive to Fort Portal in western Uganda. Depart from Kampala 7am. The route is incredibly scenic, passing through tea plantations and the lush green countryside which characterizes so much of Uganda. The last hour of the journey will take you through dense forest and sounds of the wild.
Activities at Kyaninga Royal Cottages include forest guided walks, hiking, biking, and cultural visits.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kyaninga Royal Cottages.
Visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding Explosion Crater Lakes.
This makes it a most interesting day adventure and can be done while staying in Fort. A side-trip to the Amabere Caves and the three nearby Crater Lakes will be a time of hiking, learning about the local culture and legends, plus a hike around three crater lakes.
After the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves then visit Tooro Palace.
Leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Overnight at Engiri Game lodge or Simba safari camp
Depart at 6:00am for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the morning. Lions usually hunt as the day dawns since the temperatures are cooler. We also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffalo, warthog, leopard, and waterbuck.
After the game drive, have lunch then enjoy a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to see large numbers of Buffalo, and Hippo.
Dinner and overnight at either Engiri Game lodge or Simba safari camp.
Begin the day with breakfast, and then embark on a drive to Kyambura Gorge for a primate walk expecting to see chimpanzees, vervet monkey, olive baboon, and black & white Columbus monkey.
We will then proceed back to Kampala making a stop at the Equator in Masaka for snacks, photographs, and souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala later that evening and transferred to Entebbe for your departure flight.
Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program. If you wish to depart tonight from Entebbe International Airport (EBB), make sure your flight is at 10:00 or later. If you would like us to book one (or more) nights in Kampala and/or Entebbe, please let Kubwa Five Safaris know.
