Transportation – 4×4 Safari Landcruiser / Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up tops and seven window seats for game viewing.Groups of twelve or more people who would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16 window seats. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide maximum level of comfort and safety.

Itinerary

Arrival and Day One: Nairobi

On your arrival, Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you at at Jomo Kenyatta airport and transfer you to Sandavy Guest House for overnight stay.

Day Two: Nairobi to Masai Mara

Safari begins early morning. Drive up and down the escarpment with a stop to see the forming of the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Evening game drive in this magnificent park and watch the golden sunset in the peace of the undisturbed animal kingdom. Meals and overnight at Mara Sarova Camp, (Full Board).

Day Three: Morning and evening game drives at Masai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drives in the vast open savannah of Masai Mara. Enjoy the abundant game and breathtaking sunsets. Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary with well over 450 animal species. You also have the option to book a balloon ride (400US$ per person additional). Full board accommodation at Mara Sarova Camp.

Day Four: Masai Mara Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch at the camp as well as check in. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingos and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp, (Full Board).

Day Five: Lake Nakuru National Park to Aberdares National Park

After breakfast we proceed to Aberdares national park. Lunch at the base hotel before being transferred to the Tree hotel for overnight stay. A special feature of Treetops Lodge is the floodlit watering hole where we can watch from the lodge itself throughout the night as a great variety of animals come down to drink. Dinner and overnight at Treetops Lodge, (Full Board)

Day Six: Aberdares National to Samburu National Reserve

Depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Observe the undulating and contrasting landscapes and vegetation. Arrive in time for lunch and an evening game drive to spot the rare zebra species and giraffes. Meals and overnight at Samburu game lodge, (Full Board).

Day SevenSamburu National Reserve

Today you will spend the full day in Samburu National Reserve. You will have early morning and evening game drives expecting to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Meals and overnight at Samburu game lodge, (Full Board).

Day Eight: Departure back to Nairobi

Game drive headed out of reserve for return to Nairobi. Sightseeing in Nairobi may be arranged on request. Transfer to Sandavy Guest House for overnight stay.
