I am a passionate and energetic safari guide with five years of experience guiding travelers through the breathtaking landscapes of Uganda and Rwanda. Fluent in English, Luganda, and conversational French, I am able to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds and provide meaningful, enjoyable experiences.
My love for travel, wildlife, and adventure inspired me to become a tour guide. I’m driven by the thrill of exploring nature, sharing the wonders of the wild, and creating unforgettable memories with every traveler I meet.
One of my most memorable experiences was during a five-day safari with Kubwa Five Safaris, where we took two guests on a combined Uganda–Rwanda tour. On the third day, while enjoying lunch deep in the jungle, a mischievous baboon suddenly appeared and snatched our food. We had no backup supplies, so we pressed on without lunch. As evening approached, we set up camp under the stars, gathered around the fire, and shared stories of the day’s unexpected twist. Despite the challenge, that shared moment turned into a lasting memory for all of us a true adventure that brought us closer together.
In my free time, I enjoy watching wildlife documentaries and learning more about animal behavior and ecosystems. This keeps me informed and inspired as I continue to grow in my profession.
My favorite animal is the elephant, admired for its intelligence and grace. As for birds, the vibrant sunbird is my top favorite for its color and beauty.
I’m proud to be part of Kubwa Five Safaris a company that stands out for its professionalism, sustainability, and strong sense of teamwork. Their commitment to responsible tourism and conservation aligns with my values. Working with Kubwa Five has given me, Batte Silas Mukisa, the opportunity to grow, learn, and connect with a global community of travelers. The supportive and collaborative environment makes every tour both meaningful and rewarding.
